Anavar is a DHT-derived oral anabolic-androgenic steroid. A 17-alpha-alkylated dihydrotestosterone derivative with an oxygen substitution at position 2. Not a substrate for aromatase. Among the most studied AAS in clinical literature, having been used in burn and wasting indications.
